What is TalkNaija?
TalkNaija connects people using the service for spontaneous, anonymous conversations. Start Talking to look for an available partner and have a live conversation with someone new.
Who can use TalkNaija?
TalkNaija is intended for people accessing the service within Nigeria. Availability may depend on the platform's geographic access checks and current service conditions.
Do I need an account?
No account is required for the basic guest experience. TalkNaija may still process technical information and a guest identifier needed to operate certain features. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How does matching work?
Select Start Talking and TalkNaija looks for another available user. When a suitable partner is found, the service connects you for a conversation. Waiting time depends on how many people are available.
Can I end a conversation?
Yes. You can end the conversation or select Next Person whenever you choose. You do not have to continue a conversation that makes you uncomfortable.
What is Auto Call?
When enabled, Auto Call can automatically look for another available conversation partner after a call ends. Turn it off if you prefer to decide when to start searching again.
How do I report someone?
Use the Report option during a conversation if someone harasses you, threatens you, attempts a scam, impersonates someone or otherwise violates the community guidelines. End the conversation if necessary. Reports help the team review potential misuse of the service.
Are voice conversations recorded?
TalkNaija does not record or save conversation audio as part of its normal voice-conversation service. However, another participant may independently record a conversation using their own device. Avoid sharing sensitive personal or financial information.
How can I stay safe?
Keep passwords, banking details, payment information, private addresses and identity documents to yourself. Be cautious of requests for money, suspicious links and claims you cannot verify. End a conversation whenever you feel uncomfortable, and report behaviour that violates the community guidelines.
What information does TalkNaija keep?
Depending on your use of the service, TalkNaija may process a guest identifier, call-history records, reports, restrictions, support messages and donation- related information. Text messages are relayed to the conversation partner by the chat service. Read the Privacy Policy for more information about data handling.
Is TalkNaija free?
The core guest experience is currently available without a paid subscription. If paid features are introduced, their availability and terms will be communicated separately.
Can I support TalkNaija?
Yes. Use the Buy Me a Coffee option in the menu if you would like to support TalkNaija. Contributions help with hosting, maintenance and continued development. Donations are voluntary.
What is Premium?
Premium features are being developed. Features, pricing and availability will be communicated when the offering is ready. Do not assume a feature is available until it is announced.
