Who can use TalkNaija?

TalkNaija is only available to users within Nigeria presently.

Do I need an account?

No account is required for the basic TalkNaija experience.

How does matching work?

When you start talking, TalkNaija searches for another available user and connects you for a random conversation.

Can I end a conversation?

Yes. You can end the conversation or choose Next Person at any time.

What is Auto Call?

Auto Call automatically searches for another person after a conversation ends.

How do I report someone?

During a call, use the Report option if another user violates the TalkNaija guidelines or makes you uncomfortable.

Is TalkNaija free?

The core TalkNaija experience is currently available without a paid subscription.

Can I support TalkNaija?

Yes. You can support the project through the Buy Me a Coffee option in the menu. Support helps us maintain hosting and continue improving the platform.

What is Premium?

Premium features are currently being developed and will be announced when available.

Treat other users with basic respect. Harassment, threats, bullying and deliberately abusive behaviour are not welcome.

Safety

Do not share passwords, financial information, private addresses or other sensitive personal information with strangers.

Prohibited Behaviour

Scamming, impersonation, deception, harassment, hateful behaviour and other harmful conduct may result in reports, restrictions or removal from the platform.

Reporting

Users can report inappropriate behaviour during a conversation. Reports help us identify problems and improve the safety of TalkNaija.

Anonymous Conversations

TalkNaija conversations are designed to be anonymous. Users should still exercise good judgment when communicating with strangers online.
